There are 700 seats available for the Rams game this weekend in some of the best seats in the stadium. Thats not a lot of seats to be put up. There are over 50000 names on the waiting list. why are these tickets still there ? Sure some of the season ticket holders are spoiled. But all the guys in my section went thru 1-15 and 2-14 seasons so it's hard to use the term bandwagon with them. I'm sure a lot of the waiting list guys are legit but there is no reason for 700 seats to be available for sundays game with that many on the waiting list if they are Patriots fans first.

There were tickets available from the start of the season. I went to the KC game and had seats in Section 128. I couldn't believe my luck, but similar seats have been available for every game thereafter. But it had NOTHING to do with Brady going down and subsequently out. There are perhaps more available now, but there were face-value tickets to be had for every home game before the season even began.

I recommend you delete your post. The Internet stereotypical mythos of posters living in Mom's basement will haunt you forever.

I bet a lot of the season ticket holders never even check the ticket exchange because they don't know about it/remember it is there or figure there will be no good seats.

As a season ticket holder, I have other things in life and simply can't attend 8 games. I usually make 5 or 6 - sell the other 2 or 3 to friends since under no circumstances will I trust someone I don't know well with my seats.

This year, there is little interest in those games I can't attend so I went with Ticket Exchange. Part of it is Brady but more of it is the economy. The guys I have sold to in the past would go tailgate on a Sunday afternoon in September/October at a HS game. This year they don't want to spend the $ on tickets and parking and tailgating. I can't blame them.

I would snap up one of those tickets but:

1) my passport ran out and
2) I really don't have the money for airfare and accommodation.

I plan to make it over in 2010 or 2011.

Edit: There is very little doubt in my mind that some people don't want to go to Pats games if they think they are going to lose. There is also little doubt that some people can't afford to go.

I think its a mix of both, in terms of my family my uncle (the season ticket holder in my family) hasn't gone to a game yet this year which is extremely extremely rare, but he's a teamster and has had to shift between companies due to the poor economy.

In my case, that is true. Friends of mine are always looking for tickets. Until the other day I forgot to check at the Ticket Exchange.

I don't know, my brother. I would hope we all hang out and grow old together.

I live in Atlanta and have been to two games so far and I'm going to two more, Pittsburgh and Indy - and that was my plan before Tommy got hurt.
