we won 41-7, we're 4-2, and in good position to take first place from buffalo in a couple weeks. these are the things that really matter.

but it's tuesday and i've got time to kill til the rams.

last night was more of a case of broncos losing than us winning. we dont get opportunities to force fumbles like those every game.

GAME SUMMARY:
1-10-NE 38 (:25) (Shotgun) 11-P.Ramsey sacked at NE 44 for -6 yards (99-M.Wright). FUMBLES (99-M.Wright) [99-M.Wright], RECOVERED by NE-59-G.Guyton at NE 43. 59-G.Guyton to 50 for 7 yards (74-R.Harris).
New England Patriots at 00:17
1-10- NE 43 (:17) (Shotgun) 16-M.Cassel sacked at NE 41 for -9 yards (92-E.Dumervil).

matt cassel is doing a great job not turning the ball over and scoring points, but anyone comfortable with the oline/pocket presence combo causing us 4 sacks a game needs to take off their rose colored pat-patriot glasses.

Denver is one dimensional, their defense has been crap all year. What surprised me was the offensive mistakes. It is not like the Broncos to get so badly outmuscled on offense and to cough up the ball so often.

Give some of the credit to the Pats. They played with pride and they played angry.

Denver's defense is hideous, and has been against everyone. This is undeniable. Opponents are completing 73%! of passes against them and Denver is allowing over 5 yards per carry. This is not just this one game. But just because their defense is one of the worst in the league doesn't mean that the Pats cannot play their best game of the season against them, because I think unquestionably the Pats played their best offensive game last night. However, context is important.

Is it an improvement from last week? Sure. But yesterday was more of the Broncos being inept than us being dominant.
Dominant? No one said that, Buddy. No one.

Yeah the Pats are terrible, they should just forfeit their remaining games. Fire BB now! Lousy, bad draft-having nobody.

Yep, sarcasm.

And the Rams remain one of THE worst teams in the league by every measure. They beat the Cowboys...the Brad Johnson led imploding Cowboys. They caught Washington napping and nipped them by two coming off a two week to plan bye with a new HC.

The Colts are beyond reeling, they're on life support. If not for Sage Rosenfels they'd be DOA...

By the time we get to them we may not beat a good enough team to appease the resident trolls this season given the dream of NFL parity has become reality in the absence of Tom Freakin' Brady...

But at the end of any rational fans day all this team has to do given the hand it was dealt out of the gate is get to the playoffs and this season will have been a watershed one for the franchise and THIS team and the system...

Even when they were 3-0, I never thought it would last.
