Default Emmitt Smith did all he could

To tear down the Pats win and Cassel's good game after the win. Denver has a terrible D, yadda, yadda. Newsflash, if the Denver D was so bad, then isn't this exactly what the Pats should've done? If Brady was in there, then what, we would've scored 80 and then he'd still be bashing the team for running up the score. What a joke. At least Young tried to talk some sense into him, along with inventing some new words (perceptionally?).

We all need to remember that this stuff if scripted. Smith was supposed to play the bad cop, but he is a football player and not a sportscaster. He spoke what he felt and like most reasonable men it was respecting the Pats. These clowns that sit deep in the closet like Clayton, King, etc have no idea what real football is all about.

+1. I am NEVER one to go to the negative, but from what I saw of Denver, with a terrible and injured defense and a hurt QB, I don't think this game tells us too much about the Pats.

Denver fielded a defensive unit out there? Say what?

What about our D 5 turnovers only 1 TD from a "high powered" Denver O after last week they stepped up.

Mmmm...I think Emmitt is sorta correct...Denver defense is really baaaaaad...the only thing that was surprising was their offense struggling in this game...

That actually is a very good sign, the defense seems to be adjusting nicely. I meant offensively, sorry should have made that clear.

Emmitt had to offset Young's newfound mancrush on the Patriots.
