lol, no worries man, I hear ya. Part of the fun of being as big a fan as we are, is to speculate "what would I do" in terms of free agency and draft.

Kinda like "If I win the lottery....".

Default If you were the GM...

What side of the ball would you address next year in the draft?
Can we get younger, faster with free agency next year?

What im seeing (even with Brady back next year) is an older, slower team on BOTH sides of the ball.
Dont shoot me, but in comparison (to me anyhow) we are starting to look like the NY Yankees in terms of a lot of big names past their prime. I love these guys, but im not so sure we are keeping up at this point.

A kick ass running back.

I think I would shoot for a Kick ass O lineman or a damn good Cornerback. Glaring holes in our team right now, imo.

I would think the obvious should be a HUGE area to address: Protecting Tom F'n Brady. Seems like we are not quite as good without him.

After that, Defense - Any position, obviously CB should be addressed.

I think Free Agency will be big for the Patriots this year. We should have gotten Faneca.

A OLB that can get to the QB and then would think DB or WR. Pats need SPEED on D.

I strongly believe in defense wins championships. I think we need to address our defensive areas. We have been very successful plugging in JAGs on the o-line and producing with Brady under center. So I don't know if I would address the o-line in the draft, at least not high in the draft.

I question whether or not you can say that they've plugged in JAGS.

Andruzzi wasn't a JAG. Mankins, Light and Koppen aren't JAGS.

Hochstein, Yates, Ashworth, and Gorin definitely were Jags. But its debatable as to whether Yates is even a JAG. Guys like Britt and O'Callaghan haven't worked out.

The Pats need a LT, RT, and RG. They aren't going to get that all in one draft. But they do need to see bout getting someone.

I think they need a replacement for Seymour and I think that will be their 1st rounder next year. The Pats will need to be active in free agency.

As for the CB position, I think it is safe to say that the Pats are going to go with smaller, more athletic players than a taller one. Though I think they could find a 6' CB who is athletic like Hobbs.

FYI-Dallas' RT Marc Columbo will be an UFA next year. He once was a former Bears #1 pick that had injury problems, only for Parcells to give him a second chance with a trade back in '05. The guy has really been a surprise here. Not only with his talents and abilities, but also the intangibles he brings to the tables-he's one nasty SOB.

I predict that if Jerry has most of his cash tied into Ware and Canty next year, then Belichick will go after Columbo-would be a GREAT pickup for you guys.

I think we need a backup center in the 350 LB range. if we are going to continue this leaving dan koppan at 296lb against a 350-360lb NT alone then we better get a big center who can br used such situation.

use dan as a gaurd in this formation.
