What kind of logic says the Pats are going to lose because they only beat the Chiefs by 7, and the Jets will win because they beat the Dolphins by 6?????
This is why the Super Bowl loss was so frustrating... it made all the idiots with their ridiculous justifications think they were right because the result was the same.

"The Patriots, by only beating the Jaguars and Chargers by around 10 points, are on the decline. The Giants, by only beating their opponents by around 3 points, are on the rise. Therefore, the Giants WILL beat the Patriots."

The logic is inherently flawed, but because of "any given Sunday", now that bs theory was proven correct in those idiots eyes.

If the Jets win on Sunday, it won't be because the Pats are somehow not good with Cassel because he only beat the Chiefs. But Dr. Z will run with his own ego

Obviously, Dr. Z didn't read patchick's thread.

Maybe Dr Z was catching a few so he must have missed the playoff game and 2007 week 1.

Maybe the Jets will blitz 12 or drop 13 in zone coverage.

Where do these peckerheads come up with this stuff?

Dr. Z actually said that Matt will face "an afternoon of weirdness." Isn't that, like, every afternoon in the Zimmerman household?

Do any of these idiots realize that Mangini has no film on Cassell that is relevant. Mangini has to go into the game with a vague game plan ... that has to be worth something. Cassell will have 4-5 games of teams feeling him out which will give him some time to adjust. If he can be @75% of Brady that will be awesome.
