I didn't know where this should go. Anyone got links to vids or images of Brett getting mauled by the Pats?

The last time the Pats met Favre, he was knocked out of the game after a sack by TBC. TBC wrapped him up around the legs after disengaging from a block and Bruschi bent him over to the ground. Apparently you do have a choice in how you attack a QB in the pocket after freeing yourself from a block. Who knew?

I remember questioning if that was a legal hit on the QB. Almost the same position as Brady's hit, but he's not throwing the ball.

atleast his ACL and MCL didn't snap apart when he takes a hit.

I remember that game. I tried to get tickets but couldn't.

But actually that game was brought up a lot during the whole Favre trade mess because, as you may recall, the ol' hillbilly went out and Aaron Rodgers finally got some regular season playing time - and promptly got injured. The Favre loyalists argued that this proved Rodgers would be undependable.
