matt cassell is the qb.

this is not a schoolyard pickup game, it's an NFL system.

They will bring in a veteran arm as a backup, probably 3rd string.

Bledsoe is more likely than McNair...and Bledsoe isn't happening. (even though I wish it would)

I'd rather have Troy Aikman than Steve Mcnair

No way. I'm sure there stick with Cassel for the time being and bring some veteran. The next game will show us how the season probably goes. The Chiefs aren't a very good team and we barely beat them.

Mac is done. He's been too beat up to be effective.

Cassell is the starting QB...he knows the plays and the Patriots philosophy.

I loved McNair back in the day...back in Tennessee. However, he has been unable to play for the last couple years although he did try.

Funny that 5 people so far voted yes but gave no reason why. No it would never work but watching McNair scramble while Welker improvise a route would make for an interesting game. That is why somebody invented Madden.

I voted yes because he's a former MVP. Also, if we bring in a new QB, it should be a veteran who can pick up NFL systems quicker than a youngster. Not saying he's our best option, but it's interesting to think about....
