Quote:
Although no test results had yet to be revealed, one Patriots players went so far as to tell ESPN analyst Trent Dilfer after the game, "Cassel's our quarterback for the rest of the year."

Patriots coach Bill Belichick addressed the team after the win and told Cassel that if he is called upon, he will be counted on to step up and help the team.

Even if a player said that, it can't be counted on. It's impossible to know the severity of it until the MRI tomorrow. Even the trainer closest to the situation couldn't definitively tell you how long Brady will be out before seeing the results of the MRI tomorrow.

If only we could only play teams from Missouri for the rest of the season. You just know those A-holes at FESPN are gloating right now.

I think we can conclude that the medical staff didn't quickly come up with the theory "Oh, that looks like a minor injury, but we'll do an MRI tomorrow just to make sure."

I.e., the first informed guess seems not to be a favorable one.

I doubt anybody has more precise information than that.

Everything that's being said is not good. Let's hope it's just a few games.

Yep, that's consistent with what Reiss says BB said.
