Default Steve Mariucci: 2008 Pats can go undefeated

Just said on the 2008 NFL pre-season special.

Added that in his mind there are only 3 tough games on the schedule. (@ SD, @ IND, @ SEA)

Says they should have been perfect last year and are the team to beat in the AFC, as did Deion Sanders. Both said the only way another AFC team is making the Super Bowl is if something were to happen to Brady or Moss.

Steve's on the record for possible perfection, what says you?

The fact that @ SEA is considered a tough game shows how hysterically bad our schedule is

hold up there as sec fellas. we have some tough teams to play:

colts, chargers, jets, jets, seattle(on the road), denver(has our number) and pittsburgh. that's 7 tough games out of 16.

colts and chargers both want revenge from last year. the jets have favre now and always want to beat us. denver is tough to play against, even when they had plummer and you never know about pittsburgh.

19-0 is possible, but our schedule is not as easy as everyone thinks.

"He’s the greatest quarterback to ever play the game. He goes from being a rookie that nobody is expecting anything from, to taking over with people saying he can’t do it, to winning three Super Bowls....It should already be obvious he’s the greatest quarterback to ever have played. "

- Steelers S Troy Polamalu on Tom Brady

Also keep in mind there's the back to back west coast games. If the team decides to stay out there after the first game, that might make a big difference.

Chr1st sake, we haven't even played a game yet and the talks are starting.....I thought we would at least have to win 4-5 games for that to start.......

A sarcastic Bill Belichick on Tom Brady's finger injury, "It's not life threatening."

All four west coast games are split up back to back.

No way....not with the rookie learning curve at lb and db. Our secondary is pretty bad, and will be the cause of a few loses.

13 - 3 or 12-4.

I think we win the sb, and thats all that matters.

The hell it isn't. Show me teams with tougher schedules.

Wanting ain't doing. FWIW, every team we played last year wanted to beat us.

Every team wants to beat every other team when they play them.

We want to beat them as much as they want to beat us.

They always do, that's true, but so what? How's that wanting been working out for them in the Brady era?

Wanting ain't doing.
