Default Aqib Talib Calls Offseason Workouts "The Best Part of the year"

Good stuff from Nick Underhill:

"This is what you work for," Talib explained. "You put in all the work, see what you get out of it during the season."

New England Patriots CB Aqib Talib is fully committed to the offseason program | masslive.com

Glad to see him with a great attitude and once again doing it in a contract year. Definitely hope to see even more from him in year two in this system.

Somebody's got a taste for Kool Aid. That couldn't be more positive. I hope it's true.

From Luke Hughes of NESN who had more on him as well as a couple of other players in the secondary yesterday:

Quote:
All four of them were impressive in their own rights, but Talib’s effort and focus were difficult to ignore. He stuck with his man in stride nearly every time down the field and even had a few nice pass breakups.

There is healthy Ras-I Dowling sighting...how long will that last? Good thing we are not depending on him.

Healthy Dowling and Talib on the outside with Dennard in the slot would be prime

We all have a healthy skepticism about his ability to stay on the field, but Dowling is a really, really good DB. An actual season from him could make a big difference to this defense.

Didn't Dowling miss OTAs and struggled through TC with the injury that landed him on IR his rookie season?

Having him involved in a full program of OTA/TC would do him the world of good, hopefully he's over the injury bug.

i heard one of those little spinny leaf things fell off a tree and hit Ras-I on the cheek, and his face exploded.
