I agree. Yes he'd be an upgrade to Llyod, but at what cost?

I don't think that Belichick is in the habit of doling out 11+ million dollar deals to outsiders. On top of that, one would have to assume that his targets wouldn't be all that significant with Welker, Gronkowski, and Hernandez seeing the majority of reps, along with the rejuvenated running attack.

After several posts of being sidetracked and turning it back to the Welker deal, I would hope that they get something done in the next 72 hrs, but I also wouldn't be surprised if Welker's camp fielded some offers in the legal tampering period starting on Mar.9th either.
