I suggested releasing Lloyd as a way to clear money to pay Welker but someone rightly pointed out that letting him go would actually cost them money not free some up, in which case it makes no sense. Keep him and continue to build the receiving corps. re-sign Welker and add a deep threat.

people want lloyd out becasue they wanted him to be a 12+ TD guy with 1,200 yards rec in his first year here.

or they complain about not getting YAC

Complain about being soft

Complain about going to the ground too much

People on here love to complain

do the people want him gone even know what we got him for? A cheap WR that will get 900 yards

pretty much..but a lot more on here don't like him than just him..ivan is one of them

Yeah, Lloyd had 7 catches on last Sunday. All seven picked up first downs on the reception. All people focused on was his lack of YAC while ignoring the fact that 7 of the 19 first downs the Pats got through the air were converted by Lloyd.

Lmao-That's because he's a murderer.

I already acknowledged that I was wrong about the cap savings and added they should keep him. Lloyd doesn't do anything after the catch but he's an excellent possession receiver who has a significant role in this offense and they should build around that some more. If that makes me a hater to you then so be it
