Default What's up with Brady's legs?

First, i love Brady and believe h is the ATG... Lets get that out of the way..

Ok, Brady has never been a scrambler, and has always been on the comically slow side of things. Still, there are times when a QB has to run a few yards to secure a first down.

The way he moves has gone from slow to silly over the last season or two. A friend said it best - He looks like a giraffe out there when he tries to scramble nowadays.

I don't get it... He's an athletic, coordinated guy. How is the way he runs even possible? Can't running 4 yards across undefended turf without tripping over your legs or veering into a ref be learned? Isn't this something that can be trained up?

Brady is no RG3 or Kappernick, but it seems to me this is one part of his game that has gone from poor to non-existent recently. Isn't this an area that Brady really should be trying to improve on?

Maybe put him in a fenced in area and have him chase a chicken for a few hours. I've seen that work and the slow, white dude has speed.

Seriously, thats an issue that will never be fixed...Hes an almost 36 year old, 6'4" 225 QB.

That's what happens when you run scared. I think Brady's just hates contact.

Either he's the most uncoordinated bastard in football, or it looked like he intentionally kicked his leg up at Ed Reed on that horrible run at the end of the half and then ran into the back of the referee to avoid getting hit by a LB.

I think its because of restricted blood flow from wearing yoga pants all the time

I think he's just old......with defenses getting faster to address a pass-happy league, he's a stationary target

Dumbest game I've ever seen him QB.
How he didn't run for the first down on the 4th down play is beyond me.
And the non time out before half by Tom Sanchez was unforgivable.

Ngata is both faster and had an angle on him.

Hurrhurr compare him to Sanchez

If you watch you'll see him tell the team to hurry to the line and the OL just amble into position which wasted a good 10 seconds.

He needed two steps.

He was on that play.
If the play is broken and your inbound you call a TO immediatley.
He tries to be to cute once in a while and ends up looking like Sanchez.
To me it was the worst stupidest play of the year.

I bet half the posters on this forum can outrun Brady.

If Brady has problems outrunning a 350-pound defensive tackle, he's got real problems.
