oh come on. the fumble was an important play, yes. but it didn't cost them the game on its own.

two picks. a head first fumble. a big drop. bad play calling. bad clock management. on the whole, that's the most complete meltdown I've seen this team have in a Championship game in the last 12 years.

Really, you do remember we were up 18 points in the second half against the Colts. I'd call that a bigger meltdown, but this was a bad one. We made all the wrong plays at all the wrong times.

if you had stopped after the word "refs" I would have given that statement a "Like." Brady is a competitor and doesn't "cry" any more than any other elite QB or player who wants calls to go his way.

First off, it was clear as day that Ridley lowered HIS helmet and led with the top. That's on Ridley. That being said. Ridley's arse was on the ground before the ball came loose. Ref should not have called it a fumble.

The refs certainly didn't help. Wilfork, again, got held on every play pretty much. The "holding" call on Solder was BS since Suggs took Solder down, not the other way around. The Fumble on Ridley shouldn't have been a fumble because Ridley's arse was on the ground before the ball came out. Those two plays, alone, cost the Pats big time.

Finally, Brady doesn't cry. So I suggest you get a clue. Or is that asking too much?

I thought Ridley was down as well and was really surprised when no one even mentioned it as a possibility on the broadcast. It was at least close.

that was a huge meltdown

but this game, i was actually shocked by how throttled the pats looked

i have to say the last time the pats lost a game where they looked this bad in the playoffs was when they lost to baltimore 33-14

League has to get its head around these personal fouls. They seem to be applied very inconsistently.

I thought the team looked all right in the first half in terms of moving the ball....they just shot themselves in the foot more than anything. The second half was an utter disaster, however.
