A new feature here as we’ll be adding the daily news links from around the web.  So be sure and check back each day for what’s being said around the internet about the team.

A quiet day today, which is more or less dominated by features from various media outlets regarding Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman.   Here are some to check out:

Edelman looks to build on a rookie season for the ages - WEEI.com

I think the most interesting quote said by Edelman came after reporters asked him about how he felt about the “pressure” of filling in for injured receiver Wes Welker.

“My dad always told me that stuff like that’s not really pressure. Pressure is when you have a $1,000 bill and you only have $500 in the bank with three kids. We get paid to play a game.”

A 7th round pick who seems to be not only a solid player, but also a terrific individual.

Meanwhile, here are a couple of other links unrelated to Edelman:

We’ll have more tomorrow morning, and each day going forward so be sure to check back daily and throughout the day for updates on any breaking news that becomes available.
