Here is my interview with Dan Leberfeld of Jets Confidential. He broke the original spygate story and has thoughts on it now that could be very interesting to Patriots fans. I also asked him a few questions regarding the current state of the Jets.
Last January, I got quotes from Mr. Leberfeld in my article about SpyGate. I was curious if he still felt the scandal was overblown. Well, take a listen for yourself with this interview.
Would have been awesome if a reputed journalist like yourself had correctly termed it “Cameragate” and refrained from using the word “spy” even though the most of the clueless media use it as a smear.
I am sorry that you take offense to me referring to it as spygate rather than cameragate. More important, please feel fee to share your thoughts on the interview. I would be curious to hear what you think of it.

Actually, It should have been called “CameraLocationPlacementGate” since the only thing the Pats did wrong was place the camera on the sidelines instead of in the booth.

Russell,
I really wish fans like you would stop trying to defend it. All you’re doing is defending what doesn’t need defending. Embrace it and move on. If they ask if the Patriots were taping, tell them you hope they still are.
When you try and explain why it wasn’t what people say it was, you just give them fuel because they know they’re getting to you. I read the article and there’s nothing there that hasn’t been said 100 times over. Guess what? It’s not going away while fans continue to lick their wounds over it. Get over it and quit trying to defend it at every comment intended to incite a reaction. If you really don’t feel it’s a big deal, let it rest and embrace it. What we don’t need is another article trying to explain why the Patriots chamionships are valid. I knew that before you decided to “prove it”.
I wrote that article about 15 months ago and spent a great deal of time on it. I wanted Patriots fans to have something that showed what this is really about it and it is sign stealing. I am sorry you don’t think there was a need for it.
Did you listen to the interview with Dan Leberfeld? I think his thoughts on it are significant and I am glad I shared it with the fans.
Thank you again for commenting. I appreciate all kinds of feedback.

Nice job…this guy has it right. ESPN should have him on to talk about spygate.
