The New England Patriots had their second of three practices in preparation for the AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens Thursday afternoon.
Yesterday, Tom Brady missed practice with a sore left shoulder. Earlier today during his press conference, Brady said that he'll be on the field for today's practice.
"I'll be out there today," Brady said. "You don't have to worry about that."
During yesterday's practice report, I noted to not go overboard on Brady's absence because we all know he will be prepared.
"It's not the first practice I've missed," Brady said. "I just missed practice. I'm just trying to find ways to get myself prepared to play. We're facing a great team, certainly the best team we've faced all year, so I think everyone needs to be at full strength."
Not only did the New England signal caller return to a shorts and shells practice Thursday, the team had perfect attendance. Great news, because it would be great to see the Patriots go into Sunday's showdown healthy. I'll update the blog later with player participation as more details are released.
