It looks like the date is finally set.
With his induction into the Patriots Hall of Fame already in the books, owner Robert Kraft and the team are now set to unveil a statue of the beloved quarterback, with a date now officially announced.
The New England Patriots announced on Thursday that the date for Brady’s statue unveiling is set for 8/8, ahead of the team’s first exhibition game on the 2025 Patriots schedule against the visiting Washington Commanders.
According to last year’s announcement, the statue is said to be 12 feet high and will be made of bronze, with the team posting on X, “A legacy in bronze forever.”
No word yet if Brady will be on hand for the event, but it will definitely be a cool thing to see moving forward.
It’s been a long time coming, and fortunately for every fan who visits Gillette Stadium in the coming years, while he won’t be on the field, Brady will now have a permanent presence in front of the stadium where he was so dominant for more than two decades.
