The NFL appeared to put the Patriots in a situation where there will be a Bill Belichick reference to kick off the 2024 season.

Heading into Week 1, the 2024 Patriots Schedule features a trip to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals, with New England set for what will likely be a tough match-up to begin their football season.

Week 1: at Cincinnati 9/8 – 1:00pm

From there, they return home for a match-up against the Seahawks, before having to then turn around on a short week for a trip to MetLife for a Thursday night game against the Jets.

Week 2: vs Seattle 9/15 – 1:00pm
Week 3: at New York Jets 9/19 – 8:15pm

The one positive is that they get 10 days off before yet another road game, with the Patriots having to go across to the west coast in Santa Clara to take on the 49ers.

Week 4: at San Francisco 9/29 – 4:05pm

Fortunately, after that, they’ll spend a couple of weeks in Foxboro.  Over that span, they’ll face Miami for the first time, before getting a visit from Houston the following week.

Week 5: vs Miami 10/6 – 1:00pm
Week 6: vs Houston 10/13 – 1:00pm

From there, they’ll head across the pond for the second consecutive season, with a match-up against the Jaguars on deck at Wembley Stadium in London, England.  The team played in Germany against Indianapolis in 2023.

Week 7: at Jacksonville (London, England) 10/20 – 9:30am

After that, what’s a little strange is that they don’t get a bye week, with a home game up next in the second and final match-up against the Jets of the regular season.

Week 8: vs NY Jets 10/27 – 1:00pm

The next two weeks feature back-to-back road games against both the Titans and Bears, respectively, followed by a home game against the Rams.

Week 9: at Tennessee 11/3 – 1:00pm
Week 10: at Chicago 11/10 – 1:00pm
Week 11: vs LA Rams 11/17 – 1:00pm

Then, they head to South Florida to take on Miami in another AFC East finale, with the NFL schedule Gods at least being kind enough to put that one on the schedule in late November.

Week 12: at Miami 11/24 – 1:00pm

After that, the club comes back to Foxboro for a match-up against the Colts, with New England finally enjoying a bye in Week 14.

Week 13: vs Indianapolis 12/1 – 1:00pm
Week 14:
BYE

When they return, they head on the road for two straight weeks against both Arizona and Buffalo.

Week 15: at Arizona 12/15 – 4:25pm
Week 16:
at Buffalo 12/22 – 1:00pm

They’ll then close the season out at home against both the Chargers and Bills, with the final two contests’ dates and times still to be determined.

Week 17: vs LA Chargers – TBD
Week 18: vs Buffalo – TBD

The Patriots essentially have just two prime time games, with one Thursday Night game, along with their game in Europe against Jacksonville (9:30am ET start time).

They currently have eleven 1:00pm starts, along with two late afternoon games, with the latter being simply because those match-ups are being played against West Coast teams.

Should Jerod’s Mayo surprise people and become a factor down the stretch, it’s entirely possible that they could get flexed back into prime time.

However, for now, this is how the league currently has them scheduled heading into the 2024 regular season.
