Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers playoff win over the New Orleans Saints was a bittersweet moment for New England Patriots fans.
Despite quarterback Tom Brady earning his 32nd career playoff win, knowing it was with another team remains a tough pill to swallow throughout New England.
To make matters worse, the Patriots remain on the outside looking in for the first time since 2008 following their first losing season in two decades.
During the game Sunday night, cornerback Stephon Gilmore shared his feelings over Twitter that likely resonated with the whole fanbase.
“Miss playoff football”, Gilmore tweeted out.

Don’t we all Stephon, don’t we all.
Heading into 2021, Gilmore has one year remaining on his contract, but was the subject of trade rumors this past season.
Head coach Bill Belichick and the fans will have to wait one more month before re-tooling for next season can begin, but as for Gilmore’s own Foxboro future, it remains unclear at this time.
