New England Patriots head coach shared a statement following the passing Hall of Fame head coach Don Shula, who died Monday at age 90.
Belichick, who presently ranks third on the all-time wins list, praised Shula as “one of the all-time great coaching figures”.
Over his NFL head coaching career, Shula amassed an NFL record 347 wins including postseason. He won two Super Bowls with the Miami Dolphins in 1972 and 1973.
