On Friday, New England Patriots cornerback Duron Harmon ran into a legal situation when he was caught attempting to bring marijuana through security at an airport in Costa Rica.
Harmon was arrested and briefly detained by local authorities after it was discovered at the security checkpoint that 58 grams of marijuana were hidden inside a can of iced tea. He would be sent back to the United States as a consequence.
On Instagram Saturday night, Harmon publicly apologized for his actions and any potential discipline from the NFL is still unknown at this time.
