Over his social media accounts Thursday, New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman shared his excitement for the start of the playoffs with a “Throwback Thursday” photo collage of himself and linebacker James Harrison during their time playing college football at Kent State University.

While neither were teammates, both shared similar success during their time in Ohio.

Edelman, who attended KSU from 2006-2008, is best known as the starting quarterback from his Sophomore to Senior seasons, breaking the school record for total offense in 2006 when he amassed 1,820 passing yards with 13 touchdowns while also rushing for 1,370 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Harrison meanwhile started at Kent State from 1999-2001, leading the Mid-America Conference in interceptions (8) and sacks (15) his senior season in 2001.

The linebacker was inducted into Kent State’s Varsity “K” Hall of Fame in 2010 and had his number retired by the school in 2013.
