One bit of good news on Tuesday was the fact that Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported that the news appears to be good as it pertains to wide receiver Chris Hogan.

Hogan, who suffered a shoulder injury late in the game against the Chargers on Sunday, reportedly won’t need surgery and will be out “a few weeks” and at least avoided serious injury.

However, while the news is good for the team long-term, Hogan’s absence presents yet another challenge to a group that, barring any changes, will feature Danny Amendola, Brandin Cooks and Phillip Dorsett while he’s out of the line-up.

Hogan finished Sunday’s game against the Chargers with five receptions on seven targets for 60 yards and he’s currently tied for the team lead in touchdowns with Rob Gronkowski with five.
