Heading into Week 5, the New England Patriots were seeking to rebound from a tough loss at home to the Carolina Panthers but on short rest heading into a Thursday night matchup with an up and coming Tampa Bay Buccaneers team.

In the first quarter, things got off to a sloppy start for Tom Brady and the offense, with Brady throwing his first interception of 2017.

Neither team could get much going, but Dion Lewis ripped off his longest run of the season. It would lead to a Stephen Gostkowski field goal to put the Patriots up 3-0 after a quarter.

In the second, the Bucs reached the end zone first, with Doug Martin returning from suspension and making his presence known. 7-3 Tampa Bay.

Seeking a response, Brady found James White to help put the Patriots back into position to regain the league.

Throughout the first half, the  game was defined by undisciplined play and ugly penalties by both the Patriots and Buccaneers as former Patriots chimed in. Tom bRADY

So far this has been your typical Thursday night game……. UGLY!
