Patriots Get Prime Time Slot For First Playoff Game

Saturday night is definitely all right, and the Patriots will be front and center as they begin their playoff run in two weeks.
The league announced the playoff schedule Sunday night and the team’s first battle at Gillette Stadium will happen on Saturday night, January 14th, when the team takes on the lowest remaining seed from next weekend’s Wild Card round.
Those games include the following:
Saturday, January 7
4:35: Oakland at Houston (ESPN/ABC)
8:15: Detroit at Seattle (NBC)
Sunday, January 8
1:05: Miami at Pittsburgh (CBS)
4:40: NY Giants at Green Bay (FOX)
As for the rest of the Divisional round, here’s the full schedule:
Saturday, January 14
4:35: at Atlanta (FOX)
8:15: at New England (CBS)
Sunday, January 15
1:05: at Kansas City (CBS)
4:40: at Dallas (FOX)
This marks the fourth-straight season the Patriots have had the prime time spot during the Divisional Round, with their most recent contest occurring last season when they beat Kansas City 27-20 at Gillette Stadium.
