Brady on Vacation Photo Incident: “It’s Unfortunate”

While Tom Brady was spending his time in exile away from his team, he ended up learning a valuable lesson while on vacation in Italy with his family.

The Patriots signal-caller found out the hard way that unfortunately no matter where he is, in this day and age, there’s no such thing as “private” and someone is always watching.

That ended up being the case when Brady was outside on what he thought was a private balcony where he and his wife, Gisele Bundchen, were staying.  Brady opted to try and get a little sun with just a towel covering him as he rolled over and his uncovered backside was photographed, with the photos ending up in the New York Post.

Brady tried to dodge the topic Monday night during his interview on Westwood One, initially saying that he didn’t have any comment.  But when Jim Gray pushed the issue, Brady called the incident “unfortunate” and said he’ll just have to be more careful moving forward.

“Well, Jim, I thought I was in the private confines of where I was staying and on a vacation with my wife,” said Brady.  “It’s unfortunate in the world we live in, but obviously, I have to be more aware of certain situations like that.”

When asked about what his wife thought of the photos, Brady laughed at the question.

“Jim, she sees me every day.”
