Patriots Claim WR Hankerson and Tackle Waddle off Waivers
Following another Sunday that saw two more New England Patriots added to the injured reserve list this week, the team was once again busy on the waiver wire by adding wide receiver Leonard Hankerson and offensive lineman LaAdrian Waddle as first reported by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Hankerson, according to a Pro Football Talk article by Josh Alper, “was waived off of injured reserve by the Falcons on Tuesday because his hamstring injury healed since he was placed on the list earlier this month. Hankerson had 26 catches for 327 yards and three touchdowns in eight games with the Falcons before getting hurt.”
As for Waddle, he “started six games at right tackle for the Lions this season after recovering from the torn ACL that brought his 2014 campaign to an early end.”
To clear roster space for both players, the Patriots officially placed running back LeGarrette Blount on season-ending injured reserve and also waived wide receiver Damaris Johnson.
