Patriots fullback James Develin may have been carted off the field Friday night down in Carolina, but it sounds like he might not be ruling out playing in 2015.

Develin, who reportedly fractured his tibia Friday night during the team’s win against the Panthers, Tweeted a thank you to the fans Sunday night for the support he’s received, and he sounds like he’s still focused on playing this season.

Develin’s had been a steady presence on the roster, having played in 32 straight NFL games, tied for the fourth longest active streak in the league at his position. While that streak will obviously likely end, it would be quite a feat for him to return before the end of the season.

However, according to that tweet, it sounds like there’s a possibility we may see him again in the months ahead.
