TRANSACTION — The Patriots cut three players on Monday, wide receivers Charles Johnson and Curtis Jackson, and cornerback Terrance Shaw.
Johnson and Jackson were each left exposed in the expansion draft and weren’t selected, and by cutting them along with Shaw New England will save nearly $4-million against the 2002 salary cap.
