FOXBORO, MA — New England made a couple of transactions on Wednesday. They re-signed linebacker Maugaula Tuitele to the practice squad, and placed Brandon Mitchell on injured reserve.
Unfortunately for receiver Sean Morey, he was released and his locker was taken over by tight end Jermaine Wiggins as well as his number (#85). Tuitele will take Morey’s place on the practice squad.
The Patriots also brought back runningback Raymont Harris who spent the 2000 preseason with the team but was released before the start of the regular season and has spent the last few months with the Denver Broncos.
