How do we slow down the Giants WR's?

Sounds like what the Patriots did to the Ravens.

Ninkovich and Banta-Cain, your NE Patriots starting OLB

Except the Colts have Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis.

The Official Devin McCourty Fan Club Thread

The best part is McCourty managed to get his INTs without gambling and just playing smart defense. Asante is a really, really good cornerback, even top-flight, but McCourty has the makings of a god-tier long term defensive star, in the vein of Ty Law.

Logan Mankins Greatest Patriots Offensive Guard since John Hannah

Re: Logan Mankins Greatest Patriots Offensive Guard sine John Hannah He's such a monster... I agree, resign him. He's just too damn talented and plays extremely hard.

This team officially has The Look

Wow, he's on quite a tear then. Sounds like he's due for a 4 interception game :D

    My random thoughts from game

Edelman's yards after the catch ARE amazing, but don't for a second think that Welker can't do those moves. Are you forgetting all of the amazing jukes/power throughs that Welker has done the past 3 years for us? Both of them are monster's after the catch. Patriots are pretty much set for life...

Which WR deserves the Pro Bowl?

This is a little heavy for me but I agree with some of your points. For the record, I voted for Welker mostly based on recent performances, but Randy Moss is certainly capable of taking that crown back of WR most deserving of Pro-Bowl this week. I think Welker would produce just fine against the...

    NYT on Brees' height

3% of passes is the difference between a 59% completion percent and a 62% completion percentage. 59% is not very good, 62% is quite nice.

Ian R: Can rookie Sebastian Vollmer end the Matt Light Era at left tackle?

Patriots offense has become explosive since Vollmer got into the lineup. Yes, Brady has improved as well this season but they took off both as a running and passing team once Vollmer moved into the LT position. Guy is a freaking STUD. I key in on him during games looking for a slip-up, and he...

So now that we have a big enough sample size... The Hub vs. WEEI

I *love* Toucher & Rich. I've been listening to them since their days on WBCN... they have always delivered a good dose of morning humor that makes me laugh. That said, they're really not adept at delivering sports talk properly - their game is to just be themselves and goof off for the...

Law Firm (BJGE) ran pretty well yesterday too

Re: Law Firm (BJGE) ran pretty well yesterday too. Ladanian Tomlinson averaged 3.6 ypc his first season. He's already had his 100 yard, 20+ carry game in his rookie season. I would feel confident handing BJGE the rock 20 times a game if necessary.

    More McDaniels and BB

The Broncos deserve all the respect we're giving them. They're 4-0 and have been playing stellar defense, despite the fact that everyone had written them and McD off before the season began. Its too bad Mangini didn't stick around and show some loyalty to BB, I'm sure that BB would have shown...

    CHEATERS!!! Jet*s accused of tampering

And nothing will come of this. A shame...

    19-0 in 2009 ?????

I actually teared up and cried when they lost the Superbowl that year. I had gone to 4 home games and of course they didn't lose a single one. I was so convinced they were going to win... I can't take another heartbreaker like that!

Carson Palmer to Brady: 'Be Prepared For Mental Obstacles'

Phillip Rivers does not have a strong arm, nor has he ever. He has an above average arm, but its not strong at all.

    Talent on defense

Dline is overloaded with talent. Jerod is a Pro-Bowler. Guyton will develop into a starter IMO. Both of them are athletic freaks. Adalius is obviously great. One of Pierre Woods/Crable/Rudd will prove to be a very good starting OLB next year. Our DBs went from being a weakness to being...

The Official "Talking Ourselves Into Sebastian Vollmer" thread!

I can't believe anyone is questioning this pick. Scars gave us Stephen Neal for crying out loud, a guy who didn't play college football!!! At least this fellow has played it, and done well. Guy will be a beast for us.

    Prediction: Brian Cushing

Guyton is actually ridiculously athletic though. He's more athletic than any of Cushing, Malaluga, and Mathews, certainly. The guy ran a 4.4 forty and had other awesome numbers at the combine, and is obviously working hard to become a good player.

    WEEI.com: Q&A with Jerod Mayo

Mayo is the kind of guy who could be a Hall of Famer with his combination of work ethic and athleticism. Certainly, that is far, far down the road, but its realistic to think that he'll be a 12-13 year starter at linebacker for us playing at a Pro-Bowl level for at least most of them, a-la...

Never realized Adalius had such a big mouth

Where do you work? I personally find debugging to be good stress :p
