The other side of it is that maybe they have plans for Vereen and want to make sure the offense can still function per that plan if he gets injured.
I think Washington is a lock merely for kick return. We've been so deficient there and giving TB12 a shorter field to play with is always a good...
re: Kellen Winslow's first Q&A: sounds like a Patriot
The think with KW2 is that he has always had a scapegoat and knew he could run his mouth. Now, he's playing with arguable the greatest QB and coach in the history of football so if it's not working out, it's easy to see who is at fault. So -...
What I find most interesting about Cooley is that he was being converted into a Fullback in Washington. If he was able to fill a TE/FB roll, he'd be an improvement over Kettani. That is - if we want to keep a FB on the roster.
I didn't know what became of Chad Jackson so I looked him up. Funny thing is that when you Google his name, Google also brings up a list of other NEP busts.
I think the deal breaker might be the fact that his rookie contract expires at the same time as Spikes and Hernandez which would be the preferred target for extensions.
Putting it out there - what would you guys think of Welker for Harvin? I'm not advocating it since I love Welker and hope to keep him for the remainder of his career.
This would have to be based on a few things.
1)If the Pats don't get a sense that they will find a middle ground with...
I found this link at it seems to imply something went down but it's not any site of credibility. Says he dumped a drink on a girl at a charity event (Zolioke?)
Shot of Ginn: Rob Gronkowski TE New England Patriots
Has anybody heard anything credible one way or another on this?
Seems like a guy who made the best of his struggles.

Re: Pro Football Focus ranks S.Ridley's 'yards after contact' output within the top 1
Is this stat reflective of how far the ball flies out after the hit?
What I thought was interesting is how they bunched Welker and Edelman. The joke has always been about their similar size and if you plan to cover 83, having Edelman there might give you pause as to which is which for just that split second needed for the 12 to 83 connection.
Funny. Hernandez in the backfield during those first couple of series felt like old Mcdaniels. The first few series felt like josh drew them up. Heck, those are the scripted ones. After that it felt like BoB was calling he game again.
Surprised that Denver didn't take him. Or maybe they put a claim in. If I remember correctly, he came from an option offense and with the Denver game coming up they could have used him in a few different ways.
This guy was awesome. I remember that he just left the announcers speechless. They saw him and you could tell they were looking for something to say but I think all they could muster was a quick "um, yeah."
