Re: King : Tebow told him he thought he was going to New England.
You realize that a lot of players do this right? They have the hats for all the teams ready to go.
Haynesworth doesn't want to play in a 3-4 which is why he's available. If the Pats want to go to 4-3 full time Haynesworth is the best available player.
Re: Devin McCourty
Considering that he said that McCourty shouldn't even be drafted it goes against every single scouting report available. That is why he's being ridiculed. Classic strawman argument on patsfans.com by you though.
The article you linked doesn't mention anything about not having his phone on or expecting to go in round 2. Where are you getting this from?
Given that cell phones last for days without a charge these days I can't imagine why he would turn his phone off, to save battery?
Re: OT: Schefter says source tells him Freeney likely to play`
Willis Reed had 4 points in the famous game, it's not like he went off for 30 in the first half. I think one or two tackles would be the equivalent.

I live in the DC area and only get around probably 6 Pats games a year so I don't think the Sunday Ticket is a bad deal if you're in a similar situation.
OTA's are not mandatory so I have no idea what you're talking about.
Wilfork is underpaid in regards to his profession, NFL player. He's not underpaid as a human being but NFL players are the product which generates the money for the NFL so they should have a large share of the revenue. This...
I lose respect for players when they miss games, not OTAs. Obviously most of these guys are set for life but the average career in the NFL is very short which is why I have no problem with players trying to get all they can within that short window.
Just because they make a lot of money...
I have no problem with the Patriots fining players that hold out and I would as well if I were them. The problem is that if you actually want to re-sign the player then it's a bad idea to no rescind them since they will be an employee going forward. If they don't plan on keeping him, like in the...
