No, but I used his name as my username because I am such a HUGE Patriots fan that I like to celebrate the team's punter from 24 years ago. That's my level of dedication.
With the steelers winning last night, I'm not worrying about these scenarios anymore. Getting 2 was somewhat realistic but all 3 is highly unlikely. We have to win to get in.
I think it's too up in the air as to how the 1, 2 and 3 seeds will pan out but we're looking at either Buffalo, KC, or Cincinnati in the wildcard round if we make it.
I do sort of agree with this. The odd number of games is weird. Might as well make it an even number.
I believe the NFL did 2 byes in 93 but not sure why it didn't stay that way.
Who knows what the Dolphins qb situation will be next week. If that Thompson guy plays I could see the Jets winning.
I feel pretty confident the Jags will beat the Titans...Tennessee is done.
Let's hope Baltimore wins tonight and knocks Pitt out.
16 games and 6 playoff teams each conference was perfect. But I have no doubt we're getting an 18 game season (and eventually more) and another playoff team sooner or later. If the NFL has a chance to make more money they'll do it.
the regular season start date also seems to keep creeping...
Mac has thrown 1 pick in the last 8 games and if memory serves me right he was hit on the one he did throw vs Arizona. So he has definitely cut down on the turnover-worthy throws big time.
This season has been wacky. As bad as the Pats have looked a lot of the time and with as many gut wrenching losses as they've had, here we are going into the final week needing 1 win to get in. I get the concern over the future of the offense and all that, but purely as a fan of the team, this...
Nice win. Feels good to beat Miami, it's been a little while. Defense really is the backbone of this team and seems to keep us in it every game. Mac had an up and down game but overall played decent, made some nice throws and no turnovers. Need our best game next week to beat Buffalo!
We had all the momentum and they run into the punter needlessly. Special teams is a big problem. Lost count of the amount of penalties like that or blocked punts.
In the games Bridgewater played a significant amount in this season Miami only scored 15 and 16 points so its not like he picks up right where Tua leaves off. Pats D should be able to have a good game. Let's hope the offense shows up.
Yes it's arrogant but until Mac and the Pats prove otherwise they're going to say these types of things. If Buffalo doesn't win it this year they're going to start getting the choker label though.
Somewhat concerning how many concussions this guy is taking. Obviously we've seen the long term effects can be scary. And while I'm never happy to see someone injured, this is an opportunity for the pats. No excuse not to win this game if he's out.
He's awful and they've bad a big enough sample size. They have a good roster and really cant be sinking years into hoping this guy suddenly shows improvement. I just hope they don't somehow end up with someone actually good that makes this division even tougher.
