I was too young (first grade) to know what was going on, but I remember being told to wear red, white, and blue to school. A kid named Matt wore the most R,W,& B so he won a kazoo. I started watching football the next year. The Broncos turned 3 of my first 4 Super Bowls into jokes. Now they're...
Remember this Panthers team was a Julio Jones grab away from vying for the title of "Greatest Team Ever". They're 17-1. They just embarrassed a good Cardinals team.
Crown their asses
I can't for the life of me see how this can be a competitive game. Denver's defense got to Brady on every single dropback, had the worst running game in the NFL to defend, was at home, and still only won by a missed PAT. I can't remember the last time I looked at a SB and just couldn't imagine...
A little outside the box because it happened in a win, but the onside kick against the Redskins was the dumbest onside kick I've ever seen. Zero good reason for it. At least during the Eagles game you can argue that they were missing offensive pieces and also it was a "long" onside kick.
Bill...
This is Carolina's year. When it's your year, you need to close the deal. 2012 was San Fran's year. They blew it and won't be going back. 2006 was San Diego's year. Marlon McCree fumbled it away to Troy Brown. 1998 was Minnesota's year. Gary Anderson shanked it. 1990 was Buffalo's year. Everyone...
The offensive line was a colossal disaster this year, and the backups should be better. Kline got a nice extension and suddenly became Jordan Devey. Not saying the two things are related, but it happened. Cannon is a highly paid backup. He can't even manage the RT spot, never mind fill in at LT...
He was OK. Actually he was pretty bad. The Pats got pressure like 3 times all game and it resulted in 40 yards of sackage. He would've legit died if he faced what Brady did.
One of the worst games I've ever seen by an offensive line, and I've been watching football for 30 years. The rest of the team is championship caliber, even with injuries. Good season, not surprised it ended this way. So damn tough to win a SB.
"The only times he came off the field were in games that were decided late in the fourth quarter, or in the goal-line package."
Definitely don't want Butler on the field under those circumstances ;)
Most Pats fans have always loved Julian, from his first preseason here. It's hard to blame those who lost patience with him, since BB didn't seem too determined to keep him in the fold after 2012.
The James White Hate Club has way more egg on their faces. The kid was despised here from day 1...
