This!!! And the fact that it is so very hard to be consistent year to year let alone decade to decade!
Look at the Rams - Superbowl last year out of the playoffs this year.
Many pre-season SB champs wind up wasted on the side of the road due to injuries, bad luck, etc.
Looking forward to...
There's a wild-card here and that is what the League Front Office/Goddell would do. It could range from nothing to a season-long suspension. Especially if another, and I am sure there is, skeleton comes out of AB's closet.
If I was Brady I would be upset too. He wasted time working with Brown, investing time and effort, and then he gets released. The Pats knew it was a huge risk and Brady went all in on making it work on the field and then it gets yanked.
It was time that would have been better spent working...

The Browns are a completely screwed-up franchise. They couldn't get the trade for McCarron done; is it any wonder that they could not pull off a trade for JG???
The Steelers are not trading him to anyone that might be a threat. He'll sit on the bench or the couch until the off-season and then they'll look to move him.
Maybe a guy like Adam Humphries from the Bucs could be available.
