thats the 33rd pick for a 2nd rounder in 2012. we would be getting a lower 2nd round pick to make up for our lost 33rd. why trade a very high second round pick in 2011 for a second rounder in 2012?? just make the pick at 33 and be done with it.

i think you only trade the 33 for a first rounder in 2012. anything less and it defeats the purpose.

your right. but you cant draft 11 guys every year. at some point you need to aquire star players. game changers. which history has shown you have the best chance for that in the first round. our best second round pick over the last couple of years was wes welker....ironically we traded that one...

but your not making the first round pick! Yes you have an infinite number of 2nd rounders, but your not picking an infinite number of first rounders.
