Re: Hobbs on the bandwagon fans
I was saddened to hear the booing at yesterday's game. I did listen closely to double check because I know sometimes it sounds like people are booing when cheering Bruschi.
I know it happens in all sports to all teams at some point, but I also agree that it...
When Bledsoe went down in 2001, a lot of people were ready to see him go anyway. He was on his way out. I think a lot of the concern about Brady was his lack of experience starting, even in college, and if he was so good, why was he available so late in the draft? When Bledsoe ended up backing...
I just found this board and I'm planning to stick around. I've been a Pats fan as long as I can remember, even in college football central TN. I watch every game and if I can't watch it, I try to listen to it on the radio. I'd rather see them win, but I don't think it's the end of the world to...
I agree Cassel has been put in a difficult position and has done well considering. Brady has had some just as bad, if not worse games.
Belichick has proven time and time again he's not afraid to do what is best for the team, even if it's not the most popular decision. I remember being angry...
Depending on what you want for your experience, if you want to get out quickly after the game, park a little further away from the stadium. We always park on one of the private lots on Rt. 1. We have to walk a little further, but by the time we get to our car, we have no traffic.
I didn't hear it either. I was watching it on CBS and rewinded my DVR to try to hear it when someone else mentioned it.
I definitely don't condone it if she did say a derogatory remark, but I also do agree with others that it probably happens a lot on the field as trash talk, and most of the...
Re: I admit, I was embarrased for Brett.
I'm wondering how much of it is for the love of the game, though. I'm thinking abut all the hemming and hawing he does at the end of the past few seasons and wondering how much of that is driven by the desire for attention. I would think if it was...
I just joined today, didn't realize until after registering it might not have been the best idea to join on a game day and once I saw it needed admin approval, thought I wouldn't be approved until tomorrow in case it was thought I was a troll.
I was a lurker for a while (I like to lurk...
There have been a few times when I've heard players swear or saw their lips form swear words. I think it's just part of the game mentality, just so into it the cussing just comes out. I've seen Brady do it a few times before.
No, that doesn't sound like him, does it? Love the line about Jets team riding high off of last week's win! I think he's loving that the team is showing everyone they can still win without Brady.
Re: As much as I'd want Brady in there - this win was MUCH more satisfying with Casse
I'd much rather have Brady in and healthy, but it is satisfying to have the win with Cassel in there, especially against the Jets and Favre. I hope they keep it up!
I thought it looked pretty nasty too. I thought it was a bit ironic for them to have the same injury. I like that Charlie even made a joke about it in the post game interview!
I've been a Pats fan for as long as I can remember, we have pictures of me and my cousins dressed in shirts for the 1986 Super Bowl when I was 5!
I found this forum last year, and have been lurking since, but have just decided to join. For my username, I decided to do a girly version of Pat...
