Timing is different in the NFL so you have to adapt anyway. Timing isn’t innate; that’s why they work on it in practice every day.Because by the time they've reached the pros, they've been doing this sorta thing so long it's become instinct. Timing is also something that tends to be innate. You usually have it or you don't.
Yup comes from a very athletic family. Like 3 brothers that all played sports, one of which played on a Champ Tar Heel team. Father played QB in college. He's a good one for sure.I'm quite pleased with Maye's upside. I really liked hearing about his background being the youngest kid and having to battle with his brothers. The mentorship relationship with Cam Newton. I really wish him the best of luck here!
Im absolutely pumpedIf you’re happy then i feel even better

All players work on footwork. That’s about coaching and putting in the work.
He’s gone work to do. That’s for sure. We’ll see.
Mac Jones Redux...
Hope I'm wrong, Fear I'm right.
The odds of being right are in your favor. QB has a high bust rate.Mac Jones Redux...

The big reason that I didn't want Maye was that he takes too long to process and get rid of the ball. So I hope your observation is wrong but my concern is that it's right. Does he have the athleticism to overcome the slow decision making? I don't think so, but time will tell.I disagree on pretty much all that as I've yet to see any player radically improve either from college to the pros. But, we'll see.

In what universe is Mac Jones comparable to Maye?Mac Jones Redux...

I was going to say this!Maye The Force Be With Him.
Well to be fair it depends on how slow. Roethlisberger was not elite at processing speed- not terrible either- but was good enough to win because he had elite level ability to avoid sacks.Athleticism never overcomes that.
