Story on Patriots' documentary brings recent dysfunction to light

You guys ever watch the HBO documentary on Vince Lombardi? These guys are who there are, they bring out the best in their football players, to say if he didn't do this or was a little nicer isn't the way it works. They won because of who they are and they don't change.
Lol, that was 57 years ago.

Lol, that was 57 years ago.
Not that quite long that the doc was on, but my point is these guys have a makeup and they don't change, it's their personality, we all have different personalities and we're not perfect, but we really don't change much especially if how we do things work.

i think this show is going to kill his chances of getting a job again

He's not getting in to the HOF on 1st ballot either. Bill's arrogant ways screwed Bill.

Not challenging Pierre Woods clear fumble recovery in Giants territory.
He wouldn't have won the challenge. This is because of the ridiculous way the refs allow the players to fight each other for the ball even after a player like Woods falls on the ball and clearly controls it and is then contacted by several players. The play should have been blown dead as soon as the first Giants player touches Woods after he fell on the ball and secured it. Bradshaw was allowed to dive in and wrestle the ball free. As far as I can remember the NFL refs have allowed this way too many times.

You mean the 2017 SB when Bill's brilliant D plan allowed Nick ****ing Foles to put up 538 offensive yards, 63% on 3rd downs, 100% on 4th downs, and 41 points? The one where he benched Malcolm?

Yes, I'm sure you don't want to talk about that brilliant D plan against a back-up QB that wasted Tom's 613 yards on offense and 33 pts.

Wilks got fired for allowing Mahomes 19 pts in regulation. Bill should've been fired for that fiasco.
What happened to DC from that game?

Just read what Brady said, it was worse than I thought. To be honest, this may kill his chances of getting another NFL HC job. Man, that’s brutal.

Add how everyone perceives the way he handled Mac Jones, and its over. Bill literally destroyed Mac's psyche. Mac still sucks, but what Bill did was ****ing brutal. Almost like he sabotaged him on purpose. Bill's done.

I have my my own issues with kraft, but is there any credible evidence of this?
I hear those over and over, but never any evidence other then " I'm sure he wasn't" or " he probably wasn't"
I've never seen any reports of anyone inside Gillette saying that Mac was Kraft's pic or that he told Bill to pic Mac .

Like asking seriously, did I miss it?
Team Bill is making **** up in a desperate last ditch effort to whitewash the disaster of his last 4 seasons. Just watch the Youtube video of the Pats war room on the Mac pick. That'll answer your question. The rest is BS.

I was surprised and disappointed Bill didn't put a good game plan together to stop that gimmick RPO offense. If that had happened during the 10 year drought, he probably gets canned. But they won in 2014 and 2016 giving him 5 titles, so firing him wasn't going to happen.

He admitted to spygate for Christ sakes. He admitted he liked to push the boundaries of the league. He set up the video cameras in NY no less after Roger sent the memo specifically saying not to set up on the field. Kraft called him a ****ing idiot. What more do want? He cost us not one but TWO first round draft picks and got Brady suspended over fricking ball deflation because he had an axe to grind with the league and never went to therapy over his inability to never let a fricking thing go.
The Patriots got stripped of the first round pick and Brady got suspended not because of the alleged intentional deflation of footballs. After the NFL had to admit in Federal Court that they had ZERO evidence that the under-inflated footballs were caused by the Patriots intentionally trying to break the rules instead of the weather conditions causing it, the NFL office had to shift gears to keep the rest of the owners happy. So they suspended Brady and took away the first round pick due to Brady and the Patriots "not cooperating enough" with the investigation. In Brady's case it was because he didn't want to hand over his personal phone. You know, kind of like Commissioner Goodell refusing to turn over his personal cell phone in the Ray Rice case when he tried to say no one in the NFL office ever knew about or saw the elevator video of Rice knocking out his GF. It was okay for Roger to refuse to hand over his personal phone but wasn't okay for Brady to do the same thing.

And you've now sunk to a new low if you don't think Bill is a first ballot hall of Famer.
I don't think you appreciate how much of a hit his career has taken by his performance since Brady left, the way he got fired, who replaced him, his failed job search afterwards, the stories about how he handled Mac Jones, and now this docu-series.

This will be the talk of the entire nation throughout the entire offseason. What's worse, is this is forever. It's not some off the cuff remark by a disgruntled former player to a tabloid reporter. This a high end production by a decorated Director on a high end platform like AppleTV.

By the time it's Bill's turn, Andy Reid may very well be talked about as the GOAT HC, further minimizing his accomplishments and magnifying his defects and failures w/o the GOAT QB.

Maybe but until then Bill is the GOAT period end of story. I think I have you figured out you're a Browns fan just jealous you lost out on the GOAT because your owner sold his team and when you finally got your team back you had to watch him go on the become the GOAT.

I don't think you appreciate how much the rest of the nation isn't even aware of your distorted view on things. They just see him as the GOAT.

I don't think you appreciate how much the rest of the nation doesn't even see it close to the way you do they see him as the GOAT.

I never have seen someone work so hard at hating a legendary leader of the team he claims to like. It's bizarre.

Ernie's talking about Tune here. Lol

He is 100% going to be a first ballot hall of famer....but he has taken himself out of running for GOAT coach thanks to past 4 years.
If he had retired after Brady left he would go down as the GOAT...but he sabotaged himself and his shelf life expired.
