It's a must win to me, Peyton would have a winning record vs the Patriots in the playoffs.
And manning apologists will keep bringing up that when comparing brady to manning. "Brady is great but he has a losing record vs the mannings in the playoffs!" ugh..

Assuming high and Collins are reasonably healthy sunday, I don't see 5 head doing much. Thomas got dinged, so I'd expect a similar showing from Ryan in that match up. Manning was tossing up some serious hospital balls today, Sanders is lucky to not be on life support after 2 or 3 of em. It all comes down to the run game, and Denver's oline is fairly unimpressive, especially when they can't just tackle everyone.

Edelman and Amendola will eat their secondary alive. TJ Ward just calls gronk daddy at this point.

The only thing I'm worried about after watching today's game are the officials jobbing us.

Pats 31, Doncos 18

I think pressure up the middle would be the way to go in this game. Nlitz if necessary and force nooe arm to make throws off his back foot. He is bound to throw on up for grabs. He throws ducks when he is stepping into his throws. Image having to throw from his back foot?

Manning and the Broncos did not impress me, they could rarely move the ball, it's more like the Steelers gave the game away, they had some nice drives but could not finish them with TDs.
Agreed. I didn't keep count, but quite a few of Manning's throws were off target. He was fine on the short tosses, but insanely off on the long throws. Plus, Belichick has always put together a solid defensive plan against Peyton. I have faith our Patriots can win this, even in Denver.

Harris Injury is HUGE. Lafell/Martin both can have success vs Roby and Edelman is precisely the type of receiver talib has a lot of issues with. Amendola/Gronk/White should have a field day over the middle.

Just read a stat that when Manning and Brady face each other in the post season, the road team has never won.

All streaks must come to an end.

Go Pats!

one thing too, despite missing their #1 target, the steelers receivers were getting open on that denver defense...so they are vulnerable. I think brady spreads them out and we see a big game from Edelman/Amendola as those are the kind of receivers talib/harris struggle with.

Edelman torched Harris the last couple of times he matched up with him.

Payton Manning looked average tonight with no mobility. If we contain Anderson/Hillman this will be a rout, if not we win by 10

Gotta love that stat. Brady's two losses in Indy and Denver have come with overachieving teams. NE went into SD and beat the hot 14-2 Chargers before traveling to Indy. Overachieved in 2013 considering the roster turnover and took a hobbled offense to the AFCCG where they had no business being.

If Manning were able to over achieve the way Brady has with his teams, maybe he would have had to play a couple more games in NE. All he had to do is not go one and done in 07 and 14 to come get his ass beat and give Brady a 4-2 playoff record over him.

This will be the first time ever that, if Brady loses to Manning in the playoffs, I'd be actually surprised

My main concern is denver running all over the pats defense, their passing game is meh. The pats are weak against the run.
My main concern is that I know Denver will throw all over Logan Ryan.

This is an important week guys so please don't forget to do your job too. No cursing and do one good deed this week. I also had to sit cross legged during the game until both my legs were numb so do your job guys. Thank you.
