I just love this kid as a football player. Reminds me a little of the kid from San Diego, Sproles (sorry spelling). I think he is a better player right now than Kevin Faulk. Also, he is so fun to watch... exciting player and a guy that's easy to root for.

I loved Martin, too... but I think Dillon was a better player. Seems like most fans disagree, though. As for BJGE, I was wrong about that guy. I didn't think he could play; he's proven that he can. I still don't like him in short yardage situations, though. If we could get one more...
I'm pretty skeptical that Tate is going to make it as a Patriot, but I do acknowledge that it's early and the kid still has plenty of time to right the ship. Right now, he is not playing well and seems to be getting worse week to week. But that's not even the thing that concerns me the most...
I remember on draft day, Mel Kiper hated the pick because he claimed that Gronkowski looked 'too stiff'. Has anyone ever noticed that Kiper is almost always wrong when he criticizes Pats draft picks?
I love Gronkowski as a football player. It's just a matter of time before he adds 'vertical...
I think this defense is much better than most on this forum think that it is. The first thing is that they have shown the ability to consistently create turnovers. Secondly, more often than not the defense has made the most critical plays necessary to win football games even if they have been...
It depends on what you mean by 'spy'. There are times when linemen don't rush the QB. The most notable is when a DT or NT has middle screen/draw responsibility. And linemen DO drop back into coverage in certain zone blitz schemes (or said better, it's been tried in the past even if it's not...
I would love to see Pierre Thomas in a Pats uniform. That guy is one of the most underrated football players in the league. However, I don't know how long he'll last as a productive player; he is a very physical RB and he takes a pounding.

I've been one of the ones that has been critical of O'Brien, but the guy did a great job last night. Some of the highlights:
1. The long play action pass to Tate.
I've been complaining all year that the Pats never give false keys, this time they did. They ran play action with Mankins...
Clearly, you haven't read my post. Again, I complained that the Pats almost never run the ball on 3rd and 2 or longer (and when they do it's always draw).
