My view has always been that Morris was replacing Pass (a fill-in back who does a bit of everything - catches well, plays on most/all of the special teams, and can be an emergency lead back for a short time). The "clock-killin" part that Corey brought to the table was more several years ago...

Re: Did the China Bowl Cancellation... The only part of this cancellation that I regret is having a chance of more game film of (and game time for) Matt Cassell. Assuming he continues to improve... the more other teams see him, the more he's worth next year. Besides that, it is a blessing...

Brady sliding around in that slop (probably) led to the decision to tear up the sod. Watching the franchise not being able to move away from the rushers was not pretty. Also, just think if the Pats has won that Jets game - the championship game would have been at home....
