Reports are the Pats may upgrade the WRs through trade (not necessarily Hopkins)

By that same logic, Meyers only played in 11 full games and 3 half games. ( Vegas, Buffalo, and Minnesota) Routes run is a factor of scheme. Not offensive efficiency of 1 player. Yards per route run tells how efficient that player is with the opportunity. The cardinals passed the ball about...

That’s a lazy comparison. Meyers ran 368 routes last season (26p/g). Hopkins ran 324 routes per game (36 p/g). A better way to think about that is that Hopkins had 80 less yards and 3 less touchdowns in roughly 1 less game. (44 routes )

Meyers has been top 10 in the league in 3rd down conversions for two consecutive years. He does it differently, but is an excellent third down receiver.

I'm actually getting tired of pointing out that Meyers is mediocre. I get he's a hero for many of you. He's a good WR3 but got too many targets last year for too little impactful production. But this will be my last post dissing Meyers. Not sure about the hero part, but he is my younger...

These are Conversions. His aDOT has gone down every year, but that’s likely a factor of playing with cam and a rookie QB. First downs have gone up every year. 19 - 17 20 - 37 21 - 42

The Z role in the offense has never been a prolific TD scorer. Edelman averaged 4.5 as a starter. Meyers had 2 last year, and was unlucky vs the cowboys to have his 1st called back. Should be 3 Mac Intentionally seeks him out in “gotta have it” moments. Not sure where the empty stats narrative...

Meyers hate is mostly rooted in perception, and rarely in fact. Statistically he’s been a productive reciever +20 yards down field. +20 Catches over last 3 years (Meyers Career) Parker 38 Meyers 32 Agohlor 29 Bourne 21 Henry 21 Smith 17 Wilkerson 1 Nixon 0 Thornton 0 For comparison Edelman...

Jakobi Meyers a good bet to lead the team in targets, receptions, and yards

I think it’s more about his role in the offense. Jules average 7.2 YPT over his career. I’d like to see him do more after the catch, and maybe a few more TDs. but overall very solid year playing with his 3rd QB in three years. Willing blocker. Had some key ones down the stretch like the one...
