I just hope Bell comes back strong from his back injury. He does offer a lot of the same attributes that Peters had in terms of his athleticism (though not nearly as strong as Peters-but not many OL in the league are, so that's no major knock on Bell), so there's hope (there's that word again)...
Depressed? Nah. It's all part and parcel of being a fan of this team. I watched 'em win 8 games in my last 3 years of high school (8 games total), so I've been down this route before. It ain't fun, but ah well.
...or owner, GM, or head coach. Change has to begin there. 'Til it does...
I don't usually go by the name "you guy's", but anything's possible.
That's horribly cruel to Oakland. They've @ least won championships. The Bills, in 49 seasons, have hit the 10 or more win mark a whopping 13 times. Before their owner got speedy WR-crazy, the Raidahs were the winningest...
W/ Buffalo being an economic minefield that's run by a local government nearly as inept as the Bills' execs, optimism that the team will stay in WNY beyond Ralph's passing is @ an all time low. Personally, I don't know what their fate will be when that happens. I just know that it is going to...
You may get to see a few sacks. The release of Walker just further illustrates the point that One Bills Drive simply doesn't get it. 'Til they develop the cohesion from top to bottom (ownership to management to coaching to players), the downward spiral will continue.
These are frustrating...
Roethlisberger compounds the O line's issues by holding onto the ball too long to come up w/ the big play. Even when there's nothing but green in front of him, he will take off only to try to create room downfield for his wideouts. He won't take the checkdowns, nor will he just take off and...
Thanks. I love the Bills, but I don't trash talk. I don't condemn it, either. There are some people who love to trash talk and make things fun. Unfortunately, there are those who do it just to antagonize others. That's never been me.
Yep. Looks like another disappointing season for Bills fans. I'm sure @ some point this week I'll get upset 'bout it, but I'm still dealing w/ the way PENN STATE ripped the heart out of my chest on Saturday w/ yet another loss to Iowa.
Maybe I'll adopt the same "Oh well" approach ****...
I consider myself a Bills fan yet I do not listen to Schopp and the Bulldog on WGR (I'm guessing that's who you're referring to). If I could listen to any online streaming of radio shows, I'd probably listen to Sirius' NFL programming while @ work. WGR hasn't been very good for quite a while.
I used to think the heirarchy in regard to rationality was as follows:
1. TBD
2. BB.com
3. Billszone
Recently, I've seen each board degrade to childish antics. I've been on the staff of Two Bills Drive (TBD) for years and I still think TBD is probably the least idiotic, but they're...
Stings, but it's fairly accurate.
They do need to beat someone good. Every Bills fan was feeling real good w/ the 4-0 start. Myself included. Well, we're seeing now what happens when the level of competition gets better. They still have 8 more games, but they have serious issues to fix...
Boneman, every message board has its lunatic fringe. Every one of 'em does. Our fringe on TBD usually forces me into exile in the offseason (to the college football forums, which I believe you used to frequent when you were on TBD). That fringe also keeps me off the main board on game days...
