TBH, in the pre-draft process...I was wondering why Penix wasn't being regarded as a top 5 pick. The kid has all the measurables, on field production, and off field personality to be a top draft pick....other than the crazy fluky injury history.... look at his hand size, wing span, etc...makes...

Hope he works out...but the kid has UPSIDE for damn sure...only 21....and biggest QB in the draft outside of Joe Milton. Good friends with Sam Howell who Brissett worked with last year...

Right now there is minimal difference between Maye and McCarthy, but Maye is more valuable by what? 2-7 pick slots? Why not take advantage of that perceived value? I see it as: Maye vs. McCarthy/A 1st round OL-man/another pick for a WR in round 3?
