Patriots' McDaniels Not the Only One In the Mix For Cleveland Job

There's been plenty of buzz about Josh McDaniels and the interest the Cleveland Browns may have in him, but it seems he's not the only one in the mix for their current head coaching vacancy.

According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles will interview with the team on Friday, while McDaniels is still set to meet with the club on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Cabot also writes that Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops may actually be the one who has the inside track for the Browns' head coaching vacancy.  Stoops, who's team upset Alabama in the Sugar Bowl Thursday night, is 53 and has strong ties to the Cleveland area and is one of the most respected college coaches in the business.

Jason LaCanfora also reports that the Browns are also interested in Auburn coach Gus Malzahn and Vanderbilt coach James Franklin.

So if nothing else it seems that they're going to explore all their options, and it will be interesting to find out in the weeks to come where exactly McDaniels fits in, if at all, into their future plans.
