I loathe not having that first rounder

After a playoff exit that showed there are some holes to fix...having that first rounder stolen really blows.

Thanks Bob.

That's why I think we should trade some players that we wont be able to afford anyway. We only have 5 mil in cap space.

Me too.. Especially now that it would have been pick #29 or #30.

There must be an owner of 2 with a spine to realize that this who scandal was a travesty. A joke. Time to step up and right the wrong.

My thing is, why roll over like a coward just to avoid problems with the other owners? A lawsuit isn't going to be the downfall of the NFL. America loves football way too much.

F*ck business relationships. Bob's a billionaire, has everything a man could ever want, and is loved in the region.

A lot of die hards are always going to think of him as that kid that got bullied in the schoolyard and was too scared to defend himself now, which is sad honestly, considering that he's been an absolutely ideal owner in every other way.

I remember someone in the media suggesting it was basically a screw job along the lines of "stop fighting this and we'll go easier on Brady,"

If the Patriots had won the Super Bowl this year, there would be no way they get the picks back (the other owners are sick of the Patriots winning SBs). Now that the Patriots are out of it, I think there is a distinct possibility that the picks will be restored.

I loathe coughing up the season.

I don't see it happening.

Based on what? Can you imagine the hysteria around the league and BSPN if Goodell decided to give it back? WW3 might just start. 31 teams and their fan bases were sitting last night, licking their chops, watching the Pats getting owned and booted out of SB50. The lost pick is the icing for them.

They could really use that pick on an interior OL. Too bad they were cheated out of their pick
The sad thing is they've spent a good amount of draft capital on interior OL the last two years.

It will be interesting what we do on the offensive line. We invested 3 draft picks the last couple of drafts in Stork, Jackson and Mason. Does Bill trust in their development? I'm not sure throwing another draft pick at it does much. Perhaps a veteran FA.

We probably need to use a pick on an OT though. Cannon is just a backup and Vollmer is getting older and has a large cap number. Need to get someone in who can play as the 3rd tackle and then take Vollmer's spot in 2017.

Unfortunately, not a chance. The Pats got screwed so many ways this year.
