View Poll Results: Do you want Bill Belichick fired?
I know that sounds crazy but when a coach leads a team to three super bowl titles, four appearances and an infinite amount of division crowns he should be questioned. Letting go of Seymour and drafting that JAG Solder is unheard of. Randy Moss being cut only lead to a pathetic 14-2 record with a first ever unanimous MVP. But the worst mistake of all may be cutting Bodden who was the leader for his thirty second ranked pass defense. Bodden's level of play could only be matched by Wilfork. I say fire him before the season even ends as it is already over.
I know you are being sarcastic and joking, but threads like these only go bad. Half the people take you seriously, the other half don't care if you are serious or not and use it to bash Belichick.

BB the coach? No way in hell! BB the GM, probably. Being a GM is a full-time job, I don't see how you're going to do that, and be a coach, and do them both well. BB has a very difficult time delegating and I think that winds up hurting the team.

Belichick does deservere critizim for the last 5 years of poor drafts, that cause maybee 3 chances at a title, and some of his personal decisions are questionable ,but he has hit on some as well... this team should only have belichick and brady together no one else...

Um, mommy needs her computer now...
Your first fallacy is I don't question him, but thanks for telling me I don't think... Oh sarcasm.
Gee that is a refreshing breeze over my head.

I want to keep Coach Belichick and fire GM Belichick.
The drafts and FA signings has been subpar.....and I'm being kind.
This thread is about as overdue as a blizzard in October...
Pats fans have become so entitled,we need a new leadership that will stamp out the ugly aura of entitlement. Someone like Bill Polian comes to mind. He had the good sense to limit Indianapolis fans level of expectation to one superbowl in a decade and just for good measure he made sure he didn't have a competent backup QB available to run a system he built specifically to be run by a GOAT. Not to mention he began to systematically tank his first round draft picks immediately after winning that one ring and replaced his bestselling HC with an incompetent understudy to insure that when Peyton's neck bolts loostened they would be unable to play on defense or ST so he could remind all the message board geniuses in his fan base what things were like in Indy before he came along and saved them.
We should seriously consider trading Brady to Seattle after the season too. They need a QB and Seattle is on the same coast as his LA mansion. We could ask for Pete Carroll as compensation. This is the guy who developed Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart. Think what he could do with Mallett. Pete could lead this franchise into a new era with top 5 draft picks to look forward to every season that we could use to draft overhyped pass rushers and guys to stretch the field while still leaving plenty of legitimate criticism to be dished out in message board land. And since Welker and Branch are UFA that money could be spent to reunite TO with Ocho and we could even afford to bring Randy back before it's too late!!! Hell, we could even trade Solder (and Connelly for that matter) for Big Sey and McCourty for 'Sante (and throw in GlassIDowling if we had to because Andy Reid plays hardball) and return to our glory days...
How reinvigorating would it be to once again head into a season with minimal expectations and the liklihood of none them even being met.
I defiantly think his time has come
...
but even John Wayne knew when to hang it up and made the movie The Shootist". Eeer..Not sure where Im going with that.
...
Belichick has cancer??! Damn that Ghegis Khan movie he saw - he should have stuck with Shakelton.

If you voted no, your just an unrealistic "fanboy". Screw this "In Bill we trust" crap. Bodden was the engine that made this team go, without him, we're gonna by pushing losses to rival Miami and Indy the rest of the way.
....... and WTF Ras I? How dare you get hurt. You play for the Patriots. We don't get hurt here, unless you want to risk having multiple "glass" threads started in your honor.
I'm so disgusted. I need to pick a real team to cheer for..... Perhaps the JETS? Now that Rex Ryan really has his ***** on tight. Yeah, that it.

5 years of poor drafts?? HUH? I guess that they've changed the definition of "POOR".. Or maybe you don't know what the word means.. Not sure which..
Chung, Edelman, McCourty, Gronkowski, Vollmer, Hernandez, Solder, Mayo, Ridley, Mesko, Spikes, Pryor, Slater, Meriweather. That list can grow based on Cannon, Welch, Deaderick, Brace, Cunningham, Carter, Mallett and Vereen.
BTW, The 2007 draft was considered a failure by most teams because of the lack of talent available.
